Level 1 online course • 20-page PDF • 30-minute video • £19.95

Learn my flat-bed kiln method for creating fused glass murrine and discover how you can make your own colourful, patterned glass designs.

I've developed and refined this technique through years of experimenting with kiln-formed glass, and I'm now sharing the process in this Level 1 online murrine course.

You'll learn a variety of techniques for creating stripes, colourful patterns, flowers, bees, ladybirds and more — giving you the skills to experiment with your own designs.

No previous experience making murrine is required.

📏 How Small Can Murrine Be?

One of the lovely things about this technique is that you can create delicate as well as larger, chunkier murrine.

Some techniques can produce murrine approximately 3mm in diameter, as shown in the example below, while other techniques allow you to create larger designs.

The course gives you the basic techniques and knowledge to experiment with different patterns, colours and sizes.

WHAT MAKES THIS COURSE DIFFERENT?

A Flat-Bed Kiln Method for Making Murrine

Traditional glass cane and murrine techniques can involve specialist equipment and processes.

This course focuses on a flat-bed kiln technique, developed through my own studio experimentation.

You don't need specialist cane-making equipment to learn the techniques demonstrated in this course.

Learn the technique, then make it your own.
