Garden Plaque
Create a welcome addition to your garden, wall or entrance with colour. You will gain skills in how to cut and adhere glass tiles, stained glass, beads and shapes. You will take away your very own garden gem, and be given grout to apply at home. Your page-sized personalised masterpiece can be hung to a wall or fence or as a door number! All tools and materials are included in this session, but bring a bag to take your art home. This class is suitable for all abilities. Age 16+. £33 (booking fee waived)

Hand Formed Garden Mosaic Shape

This is a new class for an eye-catching feature in mosaic sculpture! Create a welcome addition to your garden, wall or entrance with shiny elegance. You will gain skills in how to design mosaic patterns, and how to cut and adhere glass tiles, beads and shapes. You will learn flat sculpting techniques by moulding a shape of your own design from a 30x40cm cement base. There will be a half hour lunch and there's a nearby shop. By the end of the workshop you will take away your very own garden gem, and will be given grout to apply at home, once the adhesive has set. The day workshop includes all tools and materials. Your personalised masterpiece can be hung to a wall or fence, or add a garden stake for £1.50. You may wish to bring a bag to take your art home. This class is suitable for all abilities, but some elbow grease is needed for the sculpting. Age 16+ £40

Create a dazzling illumination! This is a gorgeous eye-catching feature for your window. Learn how to cut and design with stained glass in a more fun and freestyle way compared with traditional leaded glass. Examples in the Student Gallery

Crash Glass Mosaics
Leyland Studio on hold for the moment
This is a very rare form of mosaic class to be found in the British Isles. Create a personalised piece using specialist glass, mixed media and imagery. You can experiment with abstract themes, textures, painting, family photos or iconography to yield enchanting effects. By the end of the workshop, you will take away your own page-sized masterpiece, and grout to apply at home. All materials are included for this dazzler of a session, but bring a bag. Personal images are welcome sized between a large stamp and a hand. Suitable for all levels 16yrs+ £33.
