Enjoy some creative time on this beginner-friendly session. Learn the art of copper foil in a more traditional stained glass style.We will learn about Copper Foiled Glass which allows us to work with easier designs. You can choose the skill level that you feel comfortable with. You will start with a smaller practice piece, then choose your main design from what you learned. You can find student examples in the student gallery.
- Create 1 practice piece + 1 main piece
During this fun hands-on class using a mix of foil and other embellishments, we will cover:
- Selecting from a choice of patterns and glass
- Main piece choice: stars, hearts, bird, dragonfly, butterfly, or flower
- Beginner and intermediate glass cutting
- Copper foiling
- Soldering techniques
- Decorating the finished pieces using a mix of materials and methods.
* There will be lead-free solder and fumes, and anyone with breathing issues may wish to wear a mask.
A mask, gloves, goggles and ventilation are available. This session is suitable for all levels. Age 16. £45 Extended Offer!

Enjoy some creative time on this taster session. We will learn about this simpler alternative to Copper Foiled Glass which allows us to work on more basic designs with the focus on embellishments.
During this fun hands-on class using a mix of foil and other embellishments, we will cover :
- Selecting from a choice of patterns and glass
- Basic Glass Cutting, copper foiling,- Minimal soldering,
- Decorating the finished pieces using a mix of materials and methods.
- You will take home: 4 pieces
*Please note that there will be a small amount of hot lead free solder and fumes, so those with breathing issues may wish to consider this. A mask, gloves, goggles and ventilation are available. The price of £30 includes tools and materials, but please remember reading glasses, a carrier bag, closed-toe shoes and long sleeves. This session is suitable for all levels, age 16 +
